The NEBOSH International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Professionals is an advanced health and safety qualification. It replaced the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety in April 2021.

Aims & Objectives

The qualification is split into three units and covers health ad safety regulation, managing risk, influencing culture, and hazard control. The units are as follows:

Workplace Health and Safety Principles
Controlling Workplace Health Issues
Controlling Workplace Safety Issues

Intended For

The NEBOSH International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety is for Professionals looking to become a leader in the health and safety profession.

Mode for Delivery

The course is made up of three units and covers legislation, hazardous agents, equipment, and workplace safety. It’s assessed with 1 workplace assignment and 2 case studies.

Prerequisites

The NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma is an advanced qualification. You should already understand fundamental health and safety principles such as risk assessment, hazard control, accident investigation, and key regulations.

You’ll also need to have a good level of communication to critically analyse information and apply it to any given scenario.
