What to do

To take full advantage of the Employer Networks scheme and ensure you’re working with Quinns Training Services, simply request us as your training provider when contacting your local Employer Network.

When speaking with your network coordinator, let them know that you would like Quinns Training Services to deliver your training.

This ensures that:

• Your training request is assigned to our experienced team
• We can organise the course delivery directly with you
• Your workforce receives the high-quality training you expect

If you don’t specify a training provider, your request may be directed to another provider, so it’s important to clearly state your preference when making your booking.

What Are Employer Networks?

Employer Networks were created by CITB to make it easier for construction employers to access training and funding support.

Through these networks, employers can connect directly with CITB to:

• Identify the training their workforce needs
• Access funding support for eligible courses
• Work with approved training providers
• Share feedback about industry training priorities

The programme helps ensure that training opportunities are aligned with both local industry needs and national construction skills requirements.

Employer Networks Funding

Employers with between 1 and 249 employees can access training support through Employer Networks.

Funding is available through:

• 50% match funding for eligible training courses
• Fixed contributions for health and safety training

To ensure funding is shared across the sector, annual caps apply depending on the size of the business:

• Micro employers (1–9 employees): up to £1,500 per year
• Small employers (10–49 employees): up to £2,000 per year
• Medium employers (50–249 employees): up to £4,500 per year

Employers with 250 or more employees can access training funding through the CITB Large Employer Fund, which provides support of up to £18,000 for eligible training.

Training Available Through Quinns Training Services

Quinns Training Services delivers a wide range of construction training courses that may be eligible for CITB funding, including:

• Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
• Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
• First aid training
• Health and safety courses
• Construction compliance training
