 The NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate is designed to develop your understanding of environmental issues in the workplace.  It will provide you with the knowledge, tools and skills to implement effective environmental management systems and reduce the environmental impact of your company.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

This course is for any employee responsible for environmental issues in their workplace, companies looking to lessen their environmental impact or any company aspiring to be acknowledged as a leader of sustainable business.  It is perfect for people already, or aspire to be, working within environmental and sustainability sectors.   

Benefits Perceived by Participants

It is becoming universally recognised, with more and more institutions acknowledging the qualification.  This includes holding a Technician Membership (TechCIWEM) of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and an Associate Membership (AIEMA) of Institutes of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). 

Mode for Delivery

Assessment:  One two hour exam for EC1 consisting of ten short answer questions and one long answer question.  EC2 is a practical work-based assignment that must be completed within ten days of the written examination.
