Human Rights Statement
Quinns Training Services is committed to upholding and promoting human rights within our business operations and throughout our supply chains. This statement sets out our commitment to human rights and ethical trading, and sets expectations for our employees, contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders.
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that Quinns Training Services conducts its business in a manner that respects the human rights of all individuals affected by its operations, including employees, customers, suppliers and potentially affected groups and other relevant stakeholders.

This policy covers all aspects of Quinns Training Services’ operations, including but not limited to:

Our Commitment
Quinns Training Services is committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights in line with the principles and guidance contained in the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
We believe respecting human rights is of growing importance to our employees, workers, customers, consumers, and to the communities where we operate. We will not tolerate, nor will we condone, abuse of human right with any part of our business or supply chains and we will take seriously any allegations that human rights are not properly respected.
This statement outlines our general stance on human rights and is to be read in conjunction with other policies which give further detail on our position. These include but are not limited to:
- QMS_02 Complaints Procedures,
- QMS_03 Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy,
- QMS_012 Counter Fraud, Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy,
- QMS_013 Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy,

- QMS_042 Speak Up (Whistleblowing) Policy and
- QMS_044 Sexual Harassment Policy.
Quinns Training Services will establish mechanisms to monitor compliance with this policy, including regular review of compliance and taking corrective actions where needed.
Quinns Training Services are committed to:
- Eliminating discrimination with respect to employment and occupation including, but not limited to, ethnicity-, race- and gender-based discrimination. There will be no discrimination in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination or retirement based on race, national origin, religion, age, disability, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, union member or political affiliation.
- Eliminating harassment and abuse. We do not tolerate harsh or inhumane treatment. Physical abuse or discipline, the threat of physical abuse, sexual or other harassment and verbal abuse or other forms of intimidation is prohibited.
- Eliminating all forms of forced or compulsory labour, or activities that are known to lead to forced labour (e.g., human trafficking),
- Supporting the abolition of child labour and adequate protections for workers above the legal working age.
- Preventing excessive working hours. All working hours will comply with national laws
- Freedom of association and collective bargaining- workers have the right to join or form trade unions of their own choosing and to bargain collectively and we adopt an open attitude towards the activities of trade unions and their organisational activities.
- Safe and healthy work, including: access to water, sanitation, and hygiene, emergency preparation and response, hazardous materials handling procedures, management systems that address health and safety risks, and appropriate building construction, electrical, and fire safety.
- Provision of the legal minimum wage and all legally mandated benefits including employer contributions for social security benefits and services. Quinns Training Services is a Living Wage Employer.
- Using fair and ethical business practices, including anti-corruption/bribery.
- Providing regular employment. Employment is undertaken freely and employees are free to leave of their own free will.
Quinns Training Services also recognise the need to communicate this commitment to our employees, key stakeholders including the public, suppliers and the people who work in our supply chains.
This statement will be reviewed annually or sooner if there are changes in legislation or company practices. Any updates will be communicated to all staff.
