At Quinns Training Services, we believe that community support is essential. That’s why we are so proud to have donated a life-saving defibrillator and Choking Awareness Course to Boomerang Charity in Cardiff, who do incredible work supporting the homeless.

What made this event extra special? 100% of the proceeds from the course went directly to Boomerang Charity, helping them continue their important mission to support those in need. 🙌

A Day of Life-Saving Skills and Giving Back

The course was not just about giving—it was also about learning crucial life-saving skills that can make a real difference in an emergency.

Participants were trained on:

• Defibrillator use: Learn how to use this essential piece of equipment to save a life. 💻
• CPR techniques for both adults and children: Master the steps to help someone in cardiac arrest. 💓
• Basic First Aid training: It’s so important to know these things!
• Managing choking: Gain the knowledge to act quickly and save lives in choking situations, both for adults and children. 🚑

We were thrilled to see so many individuals take the time to learn these life-saving techniques with the knowledge that their contributions were going straight into the charity’s pocket. And everyone walked away from the course with a certificate, as we are a fully approved training provider. It’s a powerful feeling to know that, thanks to the training, participants now have the skills to respond in critical moments.

Thanks to everyone who participated and donated, we’re one step closer to building a safer, more supportive community. To make the day even more special, we gave away goodie bags to everyone who attended, which included vouchers for their family and friends—because life-saving skills shouldn’t just stay with one person!🌍❤️
