Electricity has the potential to cause many serious incidents.  These incidents can have several consequences. 

Quinn’s Training Services have created a course tailored to the needs and requirements of managers working in the electricity industry.  Endorsed by EUSR, this course provides management with the essential training needed to give them an overview of the Electricity Supply Industry and to give a better understanding of the basic legislation and practices within the industry.

The Electrical Appreciation for Managers Course covers the following areas of learning:

Aims & Objectives

On completion of this course, delegates will be able to:

  • Give a better understanding of the basic legislation and practises within the industry

  • Understand the operational practices required to ensure safe working on the electricity networks

  • Explain the hazards which can exist on the network

  • Explain the basic requirements for cable installation, jointing and testing

The course is delivered by one of our fully qualified tutors, who use a variety of theoretical and practical demonstrations, including group exercises, discussions and interactive PowerPoint.

Onsite Delivery Requirements

The remote course is carried out through Microsoft Teams, the delegate would require a computer or laptop with a front facing camera and a good internet connection.
